Are you sure you don't want to know what you don't know?
Can't quite grasp what you're reaching for
and clouds are heavy overhead?

You can overcome hate with love--
it's a radically uncomfortable movement
but the chattering birds and even the spider knows.

Cut to the root--the trees, the flowers, the haters know,
it grows deep and spreads.
Separate from separation.

Justice, mercy, peace, are just words thrown about.
Your justice is not just if it is not just for everyone.

This is not a secret, and this may not be a poem,
but you know love when you see it.

the children know.
