Some Numbers Don't Count
Three thousand people dead from incompetence
and indifference but their lives don't count,
didn't count then, don't count now -- the
"collective black," too dark to be seen
in the black pit of our collective soul.
The transformation starts with your eyes
wide open. Count them now before
there is no one left to count.
